NEUTRAL AND UNBIASED

Why Use A 3rd Party Crane Inspector?

Crane inspections aren’t just a smart move—they’re required by OSHA. Depending on the type of inspection, different parties are responsible. We help companies with annual safety inspections primarily. Here's a common breakdown:

  • Frequent Inspections (Daily): Performed by the crane operator.
  • Periodic Inspections (Monthly): Conducted by the employer.
  • Annual Inspections: OSHA strongly recommends using an independent third party to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Post-Repair or Modification: If a crane has been repaired, adjusted, or altered in a way that could impact its safe operation, it must be inspected—and in many cases, load tested—before going back into service.
